"Norfolk's Rural Roots" - (Continuing to Feb 4th) An exhibition exploring the people who were integral to the creation and development of Norfolk County. Admission: Free (Donations appreciated) "Norfolk's Royal Salute: A multifaceted museum exhibition of archival documents, photographs and artifacts relating to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Her ancestors and Her descendants, which will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Monarch's reign, and reflect the very loyal nature of the people of Norfolk County over the last 200 years. Admission: Free (Donations appreciated) "Heritage Week" - (Feb 21st - 25th) Please come and enjoy the Museum during a week celebrating local and national Canadian heritage. Admission: Free (Donations appreciated) Friends of Eva: Lecture Series #2 B. "Royal Routes Through Norfolk County" - (Feb 23rd) Second in a series of 3 lectures on historical topics of interest within Norfolk County. This evening we will take a look at Royal family members and their designates who have been wined and dined, have hunted and fished, or have danced the night away in Norfolk! Time: 7 - 9pm Admission: $10.00, with refreshments provided "Diamond Anniversary Day" - (Feb 29th) A celebration of the Diamond Anniversary of our Queen Elizabeth II, with free cake, coffee and tea. Admission: Free (Donations appreciated) "Norfolk Historical Society Annual General Meeting" - (Mar 22nd) A General Meeting with the members of the Society to review the successes and challenges of the past year and our plans for the future. Time: 7 - 9pm Friends of Eva: Lecture Series #2 C. "Simcoe's Architectural Roots" - (Mar 29th) Third in a series of 3 lectures on historical topics of interest within Norfolk County. This evening we will take a look at building and infrastructure history in the Norfolk County area. Time: 7 - 9pm Admission: $10.00, with refreshments provided
