Volunteers! Volunteers! Volunteers!
Goodwill Ambassadors
As you’ve probably guessed, this message is about the need for volunteers. During the civic holiday weekend, the Eva Brook Donly Museum will have a booth set up in Wellington Park during the Lynn River Arts Festival. The festival runs from August 1 to 3.
We require a number of volunteers, working in shifts of 2-3 hours, to help in our booth, to promote the museum, answer questions about the Norfolk Historical Society and sell memberships, and sell gift shop items. In other words, act as goodwill ambassadors for the museum. We will need people everyday from 10 o’clock in the morning until about 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
This will provide us with an excellent opportunity to raise the level of awareness of Eva Brook Donly among both residents of, and visitors to, Simcoe. You might even get a cool t-shirt to wear!
If you would like to be involved, even if you don’t know your personal schedule for that weekend yet, please contact the museum at 519- 426-1583 or Andy at [email protected].

If you would like to be trained to be one of our tour guides to give tours of historical downtown Simcoe, please let us know and we can arrange a time to take you on your own learning tour. If you would like more information about being a tour guide contact Andy at [email protected].
