Heritage Adventure Children's Program |
The programme is over for the year but judging by the exuberant noise from the meeting room every day, it was a great success. Hopefully it will be run next year and you can enroll your children in a great fun and learning experience. Heritage Adventures is a fun-filled day camp program for children ages 5 to 12 held at the Museum. It is a safe and affordable option for your children's summer vacation. Two counsellors, along with volunteers, are with the children at all times. Registration is just $15/day; $12/day if you are a member of the Norfolk Historical Society. In 2008 the camp was operated from July 7 to August 29 from 9:00am and 4:00pm. Kids signed up for individual days or weeks at a time. Different activities took place each day because different themes had been planned for each of the 39 days of camp! (See the different theme days) Pre-registration is very strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment on the day. Please note that the absolute earliest drop-off time is 8:45am with no exceptions. RegistrationAll campers must complete a registration form once before they can be admitted to the program. To save time on the first morning, we recommend downloading the form off this page and filling it out ahead of time. Click here to download a registration form.
