Lisa Cox tells us the story of Canada’s War Horses, the Ontario’s Veterinary College, veterinary medicine, and the Great War, 1914-1918.
Lisa Cox is the Curator of the C.A.V. Barker Museum of Canadian Veterinary History at the Ontario Veterinary College. She also serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of History. She holds a BA in History and Environmental Studies from Trent University and an MA and PhD in History from the University of Guelph. Her research mainly focuses on the history of veterinary science and disease, and she has taught courses in environmental history and applied history.
