The cost is $5 each  -- each being defined as the entire B-M-D column or other single article from a single issue of a single newspaper.  (Each obitary, B-M-D column, or article from same issue of same newspaper is a separate photocopy.)

Please specify you are ordering microfilm photocopies of the Births Marriages Deaths column(s) from specific issues of specific newspapers.  Include the newspaper's name, issue date and page number (if provided), for each column or article you want.  Orders received without newspaper name(s), issue date(s) and/or a cheque for the amount of the order cannot be processed.  A 25 percent discount is offered those paying in U.S. dollars.

Why would you want a photocopy?  There is always a chance our transcription is inaccurate.  Our online transcription presents just summaries of most entries.  Most source entries include additional information not included here.  For example, the name of the officiating clergy at a wedding may help you determine which church records may include more information about your family, such as baptisms and burials.  B-M-D Etc. is an attempt to provide a roadmap for more information, not an alternative to Archive holdings.  We urge every researcher to verify B-M-D Etc. findings against the original source document.
