Hands down the best way to access
your Norfolk roots is to visit the Norfolk Historical Society's Archives,
and on your own or with the assistance of a Mentor, search through our
resources yourself.
But that isn't always practical or possible. Particularly for those who live at a distance or are otherwise engaged during Museum hours. That's when Plan B might appeal. For extremely modest fees, a specially trained research volunteer will act in your sted, searching out what you seek. For those on a very tight budget and/or with very specific needs, these same volunteers offer Plan C. Whether you ever want to take advantage of either Plan, you should be aware both are available. Plans B and C were both developed
in response to genealogists requests, and for those living on distant
coasts, cost a lot less than travelling to the Archives in person. |
