The following files provide an index of our current availability of Birth, Marriage and Death vital statistics for Norfolk County. Each Index is shown in Adobe PDF format and is easily searchable. They include:

The following years of census are available to view in our Reading Room:
- 1851 Census of Norfolk County and all other Counties of Ontario existing at that time.
- 1861 Census of Norfolk and majority of other Counties - may be missing some cities.
- 1871 Census of Norfolk and all other counties and most cities.
- 1881 Census of Norfolk plus a CD of some of the counties.
- 1891 Census of Norfolk
- 1901 Census of Norfolk and many other counties and cities
- 1911 Census is available on Automated Genealogy.
The following on-line content allows us to present the INDEX of the 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1891 census for researchers. The actual complete Census for the various townships of Norfolk County is available in 3-ring binders and/or on microfilm held in the Eva Brook Donly Museum and Archives Reading Room.

This is a detailed listing of the books, pamphlets, etc that are in the Archives of the Norfolk Historical Society that apply to the geographical places listed.
These books are all available to those using the reading room and are accesible under supervision. Most are held in the stacks only available to staff and volunteers to dispense as requested.
We have a wonderful collection of maps and atlases, as listed in the indexes below. The contents are surprising. These can be viewed at the Eva Brook Donly Museum and Archives in Simcoe.
The Maps are now listed by subject making them easier to find.
These are obituaries recorded primarily from the Simcoe Reformer and covering the period from 1970 to 2011.
