You can see the  Index of Vital Statistics, Family Histories, a complete list of books in our library, the 1851 Census index and a list of Cemeteries in Norfolk County. We have both our own and the OGS full cemetery  internments in the reading room. We now have some Oakwood cemetery listing from 1930 to 1976. For free yet!

Check out the Used Books in the Eva Brook Donly section, we have some gems, Norfolk County Fair, St. Mary's Church, Over the Years in Simcoe, Port Dover, and a single copy of E.A. Owen's Pioneer Sketches of Long Point Settlement, etc.

We are beginning to work on the Cemeteries of Norfolk County. We have a page on the website  that starts the process by telling you their names and their locations. It does not tell you who is buried where. Volunteers are making internment lists by cemetery. You will then be able to find them at the Norfolk Heritage Centre or email/write us and we will advise you the data on the cemetery stone.

We have another page titled Maps. A volunteer is transcribing an index of an amazing number of maps in boxes in the archive vaults. Many very old and not looked at for many years.

Volunteers are working on the 1861 census and when completed an index will be posted along with the current 1851 census index.
